Ingredients
Each tablet contains: Melatonin (non-animal source) 3 mg Non-medicinal Ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, natural flavours, croscarmellose sodium, vegetable grade magnesium stearate (lubricant).
Dosage
Recommended adult dose: All uses except abdominal pain: Take as needed; allow to dissolve under the tongue 1�3 tablets once daily, 10 to 30 minutes before bedtime, or use as directed by a health care practitioner. Abdominal pain: At bedtime only; allow to dissolve under the tongue 1�3 tablets once daily, or use as directed by a health care practitioner. Use for a minimum of 2 weeks to see beneficial effects.
Cautions & Warnings
All uses: Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. All uses except jet lag: If sleeplessness persists for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia), consult your health care practitioner. All uses: Avoid taking with alcohol or products that increase drowsiness. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver, or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking steroids, blood thinners, medications for seizure or blood pressure, or medications to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state, or to increase sedation. Do not use this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use if allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea. Keep out of the reach of children.
