Ortho Iron contains SunActive®, a form of iron shown to be better absorbed and much easier to tolerate than other iron products. Ortho Iron also contains several other nutrients that support iron absorption and prevent the oxidative effects associated with iron supplementation. These include Vitamin C, B6, B12, folate, lactoferrin and copper; all of which are crucial for iron absorption and utilization.

Dosage
Adults (18 years and over including pregnant and breastfeeding women) Take 1 capsule daily with food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications. Do not crush, mix or blend capsules. Swallow capsules whole. Do not exceed daily dose unless instructed by a healthcare practitioner.
Cautions and Warnings
This product contains cow's milk/dairy allergens, do not use product if you have these allergies. Taking a daily prenatal multi-vitamin mineral supplement along with this product may result in constipation, diarrhea and/or vomiting due to the high intake of iron. Keep out of the reach of children. There is enough drug in this package to seriously harm a child. Stop use of vitamin B6 products and ask a healthcare practitioner if you develop symptoms of sensory nerve problems, such as numbness, tingling or pain in the extremities.
