Please place your order by Thursday evening to help ensure shipment on the following Monday or Tuesday. Exceptions may apply due to postal service disruptions, extreme weather events, supplier shortages, statutory holidays, or seasonal holiday periods.
Shipping Schedule
To minimize transit time and maintain product quality, Mutaflor orders are shipped only on Mondays and Tuesdays. This helps prevent parcels from sitting in carrier facilities over the weekend.
- U.S. Customers: We recommend selecting Mutaflor Priority shipping.
- Canadian Customers: We highly recommend selecting Express Shipping.
- Customers who select Mutaflor Next Day shipping may have their order shipped the next business day whenever possible. However, orders placed too close to the weekend may be held and shipped on Monday.
Important Delivery Requirements
- Mutaflor cannot be shipped to a PO Box. A physical street address is required.
- Orders ship with one ice pack per box in an insulated mailer.
- Additional ice packs are available for purchase.
Temperature During Transit
Please note that even with express shipping, we cannot guarantee that Mutaflor will arrive cool.
Mutaflor is stable during shipping and may remain unrefrigerated during normal transit without becoming unsafe. The manufacturer has confirmed that temporary exposure to temperatures above refrigeration for approximately 7 days does not harm the product.
While prolonged exposure to heat may result in a gradual reduction in potency, the product remains safe to use. As with most probiotics, potency may decrease over time when exposed to elevated temperatures.

Ingredients
1 gastro-resistant hard capsule of Mutaflor contains 25 x 10^9 viable cells (CFU) of Escherichia coli Nissle 1917. The bacteria is lyophilized and filled into hard gelatine capsules which are enteric-coated in order to open up when the terminal ileum is reached.
Non-medicinal: Maltodextrin, talc*, gelatin, methacrylic acid-methylmethacrylate copolymer, glycerol. titanium dioxide, macrogol, (400), iron(III)-oxide, triethyl citrate, white beeswax, carnauba wax, and shellac.
*This talc is asbestos free and non-carcinogenic
Dosage
Use as directed by your healthcare practitioner or follow the manufacturer's recommended dosing instructions included with the product.
Mutaflor for Ulcerative Colitis Dosage: Recommended Dose: Adults (18 years and older): Take 2 capsules three times daily for first 3 days. Take 2 capsules two times daily starting on day 4 and thereafter.

Recommended Use:
- Helps to manage and provide relief from chronic constipation
- Helps to reduce abdominal pain/cramps during instances of chronic constipation.
Mutaflor Chronic Constipation Dosage:
The usual dosage of Mutaflor for Chronic Constipation (12 years and older): from day 1 to day 4, 1 capsule daily, then 2 capsules daily. In case of persistent constipation it may be useful to increase the dose up to 4 capsules.

Does Mutaflor need to stay cold during shipping?
No. Although Mutaflor is a refrigerated product, it is stable during normal transit conditions and can withstand shipping periods without refrigeration.
Why did my ice pack arrive thawed?
It is normal for ice packs to thaw during transit, particularly during warmer weather. A thawed ice pack does not indicate that the product has been damaged.
Why am I experiencing bloating or gas?
Temporary bloating, burping, or increased gas production may occur when beginning Mutaflor. This is a common adjustment response as the probiotic becomes established in the gut.
Can Mutaflor be shipped to a PO Box?
No. Mutaflor requires delivery to a physical street address.
